Last Sunday I met Fauzan after work at Plaza Singapura bout 6.30pm. Planned to play Lan gamin at Concorde Hotel. Last minute his friends, Azlan & Hafiz, wanted to tag along. So okay. I knew them from Primary School anyway. In fact, I used to have a major crush on Hafiz in P4. Haha.. So Fauzan, Azlan & I went to play Left for Dead first and Hafiz joined us later after meetin his girlfriend. We didn't manage to complete Death Toll after like 3 tries. So freakin difficult. Damn zombies! But we did complete Dead Air. Yeah go team! Played for 3hrs, $2/hr. Pretty cheap I guess.
After that, we went to eat at the Al-Amin-ish shop nearby. I just drank Longan cause wasn't that hungry. Had a hard time tryin to order cause the mamak man kept ignorin us. Haha.. Kept on laughin and makin fun of the situation, tryin to attract his attention. Then we walked all the way to opposite Hard Rock to play pool. Took us 30mins to reach there. Played two-on-two for an hour. Quite expensive though, $7.80/hr, but its their fav. pool place. So okay, they paid for me anyway. Supposedly I told my mum that I would reach home by 11.30pm but we left the place at 11.30pm. Hah! It was fun though, really funny guys.
So, yesterday was the Coldplay concert. Met my mum for lunch at her workplace first before going to Indoor Stadium. Door opened at 7pm and initially everything went smoothly, people were happy and excited. But during intermission after the opening act, a catastrophe happened. Serious fucked up shit. I'm not supposed to say anythin bout it, so I won't. Haha.. Maybe Sistic and Indoor Stadium would or would not reveal the matter to the newspaper. You can check today's or tomorrow's newspaper if you like.

But once Coldplay started playin, thousands of fans started screamin. Instantly I had goosebumps. It was so awesome, I love the feeling. It was full house, every seat was sold. So you imagine how crazy it was. Everybody was standin, dancin & jumpin plus screamin. The stage was huge and there's a catwalk stage. So after 5 songs, I was told that Coldplay would be performin at the West Catwalk Stage. So durin that, I'm supposed to guard that area so that nobody would climb over the railing. It was like super close to Coldplay loh! Bout less than 10 feet! I was among the crowd and it was so stuffy. Can smell the beer breath! Gross! Then got this stupid idiot woman who freakin screamed at the top of her lungs! And she was directly behind me! And it wasn't just a short scream, it was so damn long it felt like eternity! Her screamin was like peircin through my ear drums and I swear I couldn't hear anythin except for her screamin at that point. You think Nnesah's screamin was bad, wait till you hear that woman's!

After 3 songs, the band went back to the main stage and I went back to the middle gate. Two happy female fans in front of me managed to get Chris Martin's water bottle. Coldplay performed songs like Yellow, The Scienctist, I'm a Believer, Viva La Vida, etc. When Viva La Vida was on, the crowd went wild. The ground was vibrating from all the jumpin and I was afraid the ground would collapse cause underneath is hollow. Then somethin surprisin happened. The band went out of the stage and ran into the crowd at the east side. A small stage was set up there among the crowd and the band performed 2 songs there. From the opposite side you could see fans at the east running towards the small stage. It was really cool. Then before the band went off to change, they wanted to experiment something new in the world. They wanted to try the Mexican wave, aka the Kallang wave, using our cellphone lights. So they dim the stage lights and the wave started. It was really different and cool. It's like thousands of fireflies movin. So Coldplay told the crowd to continue doin it while they run off to change.
Durin Yellow, a few giant balloons were passed around and if you burst the balloon, paper mache would come out. And my manager told us this, "Try to collect back the leftover balloons cause one balloon cost US$16, more expensive than a pack of condoms." Haha.. Unbelievable, he actually said that.

So the concert ended with 2 encore songs. From the crowd's faces, everyone had an awesome time. What I can say is that Coldplay's peformance was world-class. It was damn bloody good and they rock the house!
