On Saturday, had my GCO training from 10am to 5pm. We were split into 5 teams and had this cool Bingo ice breaker game. I made a few friends. Majority of the people there were Chinese. I think there's bout 3 Malays including me but all of them were really friendly, especially the seniors. I was shocked when I found out that most of the people were alot older than I am. Some were in Uni, some mid-twenties and there's aunties too. I think I'm one of the youngest.
Then Kenny, Marcus and Rasuul (the people in-charge) talked bout our duties, the facilities of the stadium, our attire, customer service(how to handle complaints, communication & speech, etc.), how to identify and handle the different types of tickets and lastly the safety & security. They also explained the different types of stage configuration. There's the Centre Stage(mostly for sports events), East Stage(concerts like Kylie Minogue), South Stage(concerts like Linkin Park) and North Hall(where the stadium is cut into half, so half is the audience and stage & the other half is the backstage. Concerts like Coldplay.)
What sucks is that if the promoter of the event gives me free tixs or autographs or any of that sort, I have to decline it, otherwise I would be terminated. Like wad the hell ryte. What if I have Beyonce's autograph or the drumstick from Linkin Park! Haiz.. So those of you who wants free tixs from me, dream on yea..HAHA! Even if the Royal family from Brunei or some countries give me tips(some could be as much as $100), I can't keep it. I have to accept it and later on pass to the people in charge and then share the money with the rest of the group. Buy food or something. Haiz.. Then we had a tour around the stadium. I learned how to identify the North, South, West and East Entrance. Oh! And we went to the artiste rooms! It was nice. Can you imagine I was in the room where Elton John, Black Eyed Peas, MJ, etc. used to be in?? So awesome!
So anyway, after everything, we took a group photo and that was the end. I signed up for the upcoming Disney On Ice show too. I signed up for 3 Days, Fri, Sun & Mon. But they will confirm again if I'm on duty for that show. I wanna sign up for Duffy and Colyplay shows too! It's one day after the other, Duffy on 22March, Coldplay 23March. Oh! And Oasis comin too!! 5Apr at Indoor Stadium. Unfortunately, Craig David's gig is at Zirca @ The Cannery instead of Indoor Stadium on 8Apr. And club rules apply. Haiz.
Anyway, went back home and got ready to go to my late great grandmother's kenduri. So tirin. My ass & legs was hurtin from all the seatin and standing the whole day. That's it!
